About Voice Acting

Voice acting is the art of giving a performance through the voice. Voice actors play characters in animated films, television shows and video games, dub performances into other languages, and bring stories to life in audio dramas and audiobooks. Their work can also be heard in commercials, trailers and narrations.

Without the actor's face on screen, a performance relies on timing, emotion, characterisation and the way a voice can change from one moment to the next. A familiar voice can make us laugh, worry, or recognise a character after only a few words.

What is a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor or musician, created and run by an individual. Anyone around the world can join. It is free, and the only required details are a name and country.
