About SOMA

SOMA is a science-fiction horror game developed and published by Frictional Games, the studio behind Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It was first released on 22 September 2015.

The story takes you deep beneath the Atlantic Ocean to the isolated underwater research facility PATHOS-II, where things have gone terribly wrong. As you explore, you uncover fragments of the station's past and confront unsettling questions about memory, consciousness and identity.

There is danger in the dark, but SOMA's most memorable horrors aren't necessarily the ones chasing you. The story takes centre stage, exploring what it really means to be human.
